4．衙口古建筑群
施琅将军统一台湾后，沿海复界，居民回迁，施琅将军及随征族人因功受朝廷封赏兴建了靖海侯府等8座毗连的庞大官邸，逐渐地周边五乡十里的居民都在府衙口进行集市贸易，衙口开始有了商业。台湾统一后，大陆与台湾的贸易兴盛、往来频繁，晋江施氏对台湾经济开发做出重大贡献。到了同治十三年，往台乡民同时在衙口故里建起了18座商行大厝。成益、长顺、南津、南昌、盛吉、瑞成、春星等商行拔地而起，其中长顺商号就一口气建成了三座大厝，一座油坊和一座书房。当年的商行号演变为如今的宗祧衍派。据说，当年沿着一条叫“摸锤沟”的海沟，18座商行大厝连成一片，小船可以通过这条水沟直达各商号门口。
After General Shi Lang recovered Taiwan, the boundaries of the coastal areas were resumed and the residents came back homes. Eight large official residences including Home of Jinghai Hou were built after General Shi Lang and some other people from Shi’s family who followed Shi Lang to engage in the campaigns were awarded. The residents from the towns and villages around came to the front of the office for trading, and a market was gradually established. Business started at Yakou, the front of the government office. After the unity of Taiwan, trading between mainland and Taiwan became prosperous and thriving. The family of Shi had made great contribution to the development of Taiwan’s ecomomy.18 business buildings and mansions had been built in Yakou by the people who went to Taiwan for business. The firms of Chengyi, Changshun, Nanjin, Nanchang, Shengji, Ruicheng, and Chunxing were soon built, among them, the firm of Changshun had three large buildings, an oil plant and a study at one go. It is said that at that time, the 18 business buildings were built together along a line, one can take a boat along a sea ditch called Mouchui Ditch directly to the entrance of any firm. |
